A Little Something In The Window.
To me there is just something so calming about seeing the warm glow of a candle reflect off the window pane as it fills the room with holiday scents. This one is a current favorite that I recently picked up at home goods. It’s a soy blend by SAND + PAW and fills the room with the most delicious cinnamon and vanilla scent. Usually I like to pair my candles with some fresh roses, but for this winter aesthetic I decided to switch it up with these beautiful ice covered picks. I love the organic shape of the twigs and the faux ice truly makes it feel like a winter wonderland.

Finishing Touches, Use What You Have.
Often it’s easy to feel like for each makeover or themed space you’re creating you need to go out and buy all new matching decor, but sometimes mixing and matching and using what you have can result in the cutest displays. This hot cocoa tray was a culmination of new, old, and used items. (Bonus points if you can tell which is which). The take away? You don’t need to spend a lot to get a lot especially when you’re working on a theme that is temporary and will change from season to season.
